Maria Corte estudió ilustración en la Escola Massana de Barcelona. Su trabajo está dominado por el interés en la interrupción del espacio a través del manejo creativo de formas geométricas y la ruptura de todas las convenciones clásicas en la representación del cuerpo humano. Su búsqueda formal se combina con una sensibilidad cromática singular, caracterizada por un gran cuidado en la aplicación de texturas singulares.

Maria Corte studied illustration at the Escola Massana in Barcelona. Her work is dominated by an interest in the disruption of space through a creative handling of geometric shapes and the breakdown of all classical conventions in the representation of the human body. Her formal search is combined with a singular chromatic sensibility, characterized by the greatest care in the application of singular textures.
