Rithika Merchant es una artista de Mumbai, radicada actualmente en Barcelona. Sus dibujos cuentan historias inspiradas por experiencias de su niñez y su vida actual. Le gusta explorar temas de personificación y antropomorfismo, donde animales toman atributos humanos, ya sea por la forma de su cuerpo o por el lugar en el que se encuentran.

Rithika Merchant is an artist from Mumbai, currently based in Barcelona. Her drawings tell stories inspired by experiences from her childhood and her present life. She likes to explore themes of personification and anthropomorphism, where animals embody human attributes; be it in bodily form, or the environment they are placed in.
